Teacher Appreciation Week 2026

​WHEN: May 4-May 8, 2026

We have the absolute BEST teachers and staff and we are SO excited to show them how thankful we are for the many ways they love on and lead our children each day.
 
Each day, our staff will get to enjoy yummy treats, thanks to GCA's leadership team and Southside Church.

Here's how families can join in on the fun:

MONDAY: Blooming with Gratitude  
Each student brings in a flower so teachers can enjoy a beautiful bouquet all week.


TUESDAY:  Donate "New to You Summer Reads"
Clean out your bookshelf and bless a teacher! We would love to send our teachers home with some gently loved books to enjoy over their time off. Drop off your used book donations during car rider line, and we will set up a table for teachers to choose their next great read.
 

WEDNESDAY:  Letters of Appreciation

​THURSDAY: Cheers to Our Resource Stars — This is a special day to shower your resource teachers with small gifts, treats, or notes of appreciation.
 

FRIDAY: Gifts of Appreciation
For those who would like to purchase their teacher a gift of appreciation, we have two helpful resources for you:

• Favorite Things Lists: find out their favorite color, snack item, etc.
• Classroom Wish Lists: all items go to bless that teacher’s class
