 DATE: Tuesday, February 24 & Thursday, February 26th (during school hours) WHERE: GCA Campus WHO: Middle & High School Students Our mission at GCA is to equip students to impact their communities for Christ! As part of that mission, we schedule targeted times throughout the year to focus on practical application of life skills through a Biblical lens. We will have breakout sessions for our middle and high school students next week, on the afternoons of Tuesday, February 24 and Thursday, February 26. TUESDAY: Students will attend workshops ranging from financial management to trusting God with post-graduate decisions. Christian leaders from both our community and the GCA family will be leading these workshops. THURSDAY: GCA’s secondary teachers will be hosting a series of workshops designed to help our students cultivate interpersonal skills. We are prayerfully trusting God will speak into the hearts of our students and ask that you join us in that prayer. TIME: 11am-4pm WHERE: River City Soccer Complex WHO: Community Event COST: FREE GCA will be at the Chesterfield County Annual Snowball Festival. We will have a table out along with some GCA Swag, so come see us and say hello! Have a neighbor who’s curious about GCA? This is the perfect time for them to meet with us.  DATE: Friday-Saturday; February 20-21, 2026 TIME: Drop off is Friday at 6pm; Pick up is Saturday at 7:30am WHERE: The Atrium at GCA WHO: 4th & 5th grade students (and their friends!) COST: $35 IT'S FINALLY HERE... The annual 4th & 5th Grade Lock-In!! This year's registration includes transportation to/from Uptown Alley for bowling, arcade games and pizza dinner, late night games in the Sports Complex, midnight snack bar, karaoke, movies and more! Students are welcome to invite their non-GCA 4th & 5th grade friends as well. All attendees must be registered ahead of time (see the link below). Please note: This is an overnight event Friday, Feb 20- Saturday, Feb 21. Parents can drop kids off Friday at 6pm at Southside Church and pickup Sat morning at 7:30am. Kids will be playing hard for most of the night. We will encourage them to lay down and get a short nap around 3am, so bring a sleeping bag/blankets and pillow. A big thanks to the Southside Kids ministry for hosting this event! It is staffed by Southside Kids staff and volunteers, who have gone through a screening and approval process. Have questions? DATE: February 13-15, 2026 WHERE: GCA Campus WHO: Couples COST: FREE You're invited to the "Through Thick & Thin" Marriage Weekend featuring Lamorris & Megan Crawford of the Covenant Culture Podcast! Lamorris serves as the NFL Chaplain to the Carolina Panthers, and together they bring a powerful weekend of laughter, learning, insights, and encouragement--whether you're preparing for marriage, have been married for 5 minutes, or for 5 decades! For those who register, childcare for the evening of Feb. 14 (Valentine's Day) will be provided! (No session that evening, just a date night for you and your someone!)  DATE: Monday; February 9, 2026 TIME: 7:00-8:00 am WHERE: GCA's Atrium WHO: GCA Students and their VIP Guy COST: FREE Our VIP breakfast dates are a meaningful way for our GCA kiddos to connect with their favorite adults! Pre K - 5th grade students are invited to join us with their dads or special someones for a breakfast treat and a few fun activities. Feel free to stop by any time between 7am and 8am. Our event will end at 8am so that all our kids can be in class by the time school starts at 8:15.
