It's time for our annual Student Ambassador's Valentine's Day Fundraiser! All proceeds go to support our Student Ambassadors- our leadership program for 6th-12th grade students- and the service projects they do. This is a chance for you to send your student, your student's friends, your student' teacher or administrator a gift to show them how special they are to you. DATE: Thursday; January 22, 2026 TIME: 6pm WHERE: GCA Life Center WHO: Families of GCA students We would like to invite GCA families to our upcoming Night of Vision on Thursday, January 22 at 6:00 PM ET, held in the Southside Church Life Center. During this event, we will share key improvements and initiatives based on feedback from the parent survey, introduce you to the SALT Parent Liaison Team, and highlight upcoming events and exciting updates. To ensure we are able to address as many topics as possible within the time available, questions will be answered from pre-submitted entries only. If you would like to submit a question for consideration, please complete the Night of Vision Pre-Submitted Questions Google Form. We look forward to seeing you there! Join us for a Mobile Order Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A on Hull Street (in front of BJs) on Tuesday, January 20, from 5:00–8:00 PM. Place your order ahead of time using the mobile app and either pick it up in the drive-thru or come inside to see Ms. Julie and Ms. Courtney! 10% of all MOBILE order sales will be donated to Guardian Christian Preschool! DATE: Tuesday-Friday (January 20-23) WHO: School-wide Get ready—Spirit Week at GCA kicks off Tuesday, January 20th! Each class will have the chance to show their Knight pride by participating in our daily themes and earning points toward the coveted Spirit Stick!
The excitement builds all week long and wraps up on Friday, January 23rd with our Round Up celebration, where we’ll announce which class takes home the Spirit Stick. We’ll also be recognizing individual students who go above and beyond with our “Most Spirited” awards! End the week with your family by coming out on the 23rd to the GCA vs Williamsburg games happening at home.

Join us as we walk through what the transition to Kindergarten looks like, the steps for enrolling your child in Kindergarten at GCA, and what to expect as they enter the school‑age stage. Mrs. Walls and Mrs. Hunt will also be present to help answer any questions! Date: January 12, 2026 Time: 6:30-730 pm in The Loft (upstairs at GCA) Who: Families of current 5th grade students Join us for an information session as we partner with families in beginning the transition toward 6th Grade and middle school. We pray this meeting provides both clarity and meaningful collaboration. Date: January 8, 2026 Time: two sessions offered (8:30 am and after school) in the Loft upstairs. Who: Families of current 4th grade students Join us for a time of clarification as we partner with families in beginning the transition toward 5th Grade.
