Event Details

Get ready to light up the night! Our Middle School Dance is just around the corner, and this year the theme is a GLOW KNIGHT! Put on your brightest outfit and join your friends for music, fun games, food that (really!) glows and and plenty of light-it-up fun.

Outfit tips so you can glow your brightest under our black lights:  
  • ​Crisp white will glow bright blue and show up great under the lights, (i.e. dresses, pantsuits, skirts) 
  • Neon colors tend to glow well ...especially yellow and orange
  • ​Any athletic clothing with reflector strips on it will SHINE​
  • Use gaffer's tape (see link below) to turn your non-glowing clothes into colorful designs. It's similar in stickiness to painter's tape.
  •  Think Homecoming meets Sneaker Ball; we want you to come in whatever makes you comfortable! Please remember no high heels, they can puncture the gym floor ( sorry, ladies).

Easy to use on your face or arms to make cool designs & it washes right off
nail polish
​the yellow and green glow the most-- the purple glows the least
gaffer's tape:
 fun way to decorate a normal outfit with stripes, letters, etc.

battery powered, lights up regardless of whether you are near a black light.

Volunteers Needed

 ​We need people to help us set up and decorate & a crew to help us at different stations during the dance. Volunteer times are offered on both Friday afternoon (setting up) and Saturday.
