Event Details

Bring your bike and helmet and join us on our GCA bike obstacle course! Kids can test their riding skills as they navigate obstacles like the 'car wash' and the 'newspaper delivery test.' 

Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Before you come:
1. RSVP by October 3, 2025 to reserve your child's spot

​2. At home, print the bike tag below. Write your child's name on it and have them decorate it. Zip tie the tag to the front of your bike handlebars (Tip: putting it in a page protector keeps it from getting worn out faster and provides easy holes to put the zip ties through).

The Day Of:
In the morning: Bikes can be dropped off at the gravel lot by the pavilion. Just stop by there first to drop of the bike, then go through the car rider line. 

Please note: bikes will be left unattended throughout the day. 

In the afternoon: Go through carline as normal, pick up your child, and then bring them to the Pavilion for the Rodeo.


​During the Rodeo:
 We will all meet in the pavilion for a demonstration on bike safety by the Chesterfield County Police. Then, kids will be given some goodies to decorate their bike and it's off through the obstacle course! We'll end at 4:30 with a snack. ​

Volunteers Needed

We need volunteers to set up and man the obstacle course stations, help students decorate their bikes and clean up at the end of the rodeo.  This is alway a really fun way to get involved (and pretty easy to set up/take down). Volunteers need to be at the gym doors (field side) at 2:30 and stay through the end of the event at 4:30.
